One Whole Week Old!!

I can't believe its been a whole week! And I can't remember what I used to do all day. Its been a week of pure parenthood bliss for me and Steve. Here are a couple of things we love about our baby boy Raleigh so far:

He loves to be in his birthday suit (with his diaper on of course. . . neither of us has been peed on yet!)
He smiles a LOT when he has gas, and it is SUPER CUTE, hopefully we'll get it on camera someday but he's tricky.
He really likes music, so far Coldplay, mommy singing country, and old school rock n' roll are his favorites haha. Currently listening to Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, he's so cool.
He's pretty predictable so far when it comes to sleeping and eating. We can count on at least 3 hours at a time of sleep, which is enough for me when I get up to use the restroom and take medicine so often anyways.
He doesn't cry very often, and if he does it's too cute to be annoyed at anyways.
His umbilical stump came off on Sunday and his little belly button is starting to look normal!
He loves looking at his dad, and vic versa.
Dad is really really good at calming him down and changing diapers and taking care of mom, best dad ever!!
Raleigh loves his mom's kisses, and vic versa.
He loves to eat but spits up a LOT (I see much laundry in my future. . .)
He's really great at soothing himself by sucking on his hands and stretching. Not to mention, the genius knows how to grab me or Steve's fingers and put them in his mouth.
He likes to be swaddles when he sleeps, but he pulls his arms out every time! He's too strong for his own good sometimes (you should see his muscles!!)
He is pretty awesome at picking up his head and looking around.
He likes to kick kick kick and stand up sometimes with his strong leg muscles!

And he's simply wonderful!! We love every little bit of him and each new part of his personality we get to see! It's not so fun to think he will grow up so fast, but we hope to be able to cherish each stage of his life and remember as much as we can. He's already starting to fill out his little wrinkles!!
