Mango-Pineapple-Coconut Smoothies!

These were amazingly awesome! I got the recipe from: http://www.ourbestbites.com/2008/08/mango-colada.html
Here is what you need:

For two smoothies (a little more than a cup of smoothie each):
1 cup fresh or frozen (but thawed) mango chunks
1/2 cup pineapple chunks or tidbits with the juice
2 Tb lime juice or juice of one lime
1/3 cup Cream of Coconut (I should have flipped the bottle, oops! I found this squirt bottle of it at Target for $3, you can also find it in cans but you will have leftover that you might not be able to store)
Depending on how thick you like it, you'll need 8-12 ice cubes.
Whip cream!! And straws!!
Raleigh loves fruit, no really, he is a fruit maniac!
First, throw in the blender the thawed or fresh mango chunks, pineapple tidbits with some juice, lime juice, and cream of coconut. You want this all blended together before you put the ice in (that's the first time I've ever done that with smoothies, works like a charm!). I bet if you didn't have mangoes, you could use more pineapple instead. I'm definitely trying that, I love pineapple!

Next, you'll want to put in your ice cubes and blend it all up! I like mine a little on the thick side so I put in 12 ice cubes, you could certainly put more. Top with whip cream and use a straw! We didn't have whip cream and our straws are really small : ( they were still really yummy though!!

Next time, I think I would layer the smoothie/whip cream a couple times in the glass like they do at restaurants. I am such a sucker for fruity drinks! Now I just need one of those blenders that can cut up ipods, haha.
