Emma Visit!!

I want to start off this post by saying how grateful I am to have Emma as my cousin! I didn't have the chance to grow up with sisters, but Emma has always been there for me and I appreciate her friendship throughout the years so much!! We love you Emmy!!

The first night she arrived, we went to eat at Fleet Landing Restaurant down on the water in Charleston! (I'm guessing this is going to be a Riley tradition!)

She also got to read Raleigh a bedtime story!

The next day, we woke up and had breakfast and Steve left for work. A little while later we realized he had taken the carseat with him, d'oh! So we took a walk down to Chick-fil-a for lunch and visited lots of shops near the apartments.

We finally got to go to the BEACH on Friday!! Raleigh loved it, Emma loved it, and I loved it! Who doesn't love the beach??

I know he looks timid in the photo below, but trust me... he was "No Fear!" at the beach! He ran into the water and splashed like a maniac! I, on the other hand, was petrified of losing him to the sharks! Slow down baby!

Oh and as Emma would tell you, Raleigh is a little obsessed with birds. The beach was definitely a good spot for bird-watching/chasing!

After the beach we went to Jack's Cosmic Dogs and had some of the best hot dogs around!! I am so glad we got to see Emma for a little while before she headed back to Rexburg! And I sure do hope she can come back to see baby Trent someday ; )
