Well, I missed the boat on Kallahan's actual birthday (8/27) but today is my brother Braeden's birthday (the big boy, he's a teen today!!). I can't believe how fast they grow up. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting on the couch, minding my own business when some crazy two year old threw a small (yet heavy) metal airplane right at my forehead... that boy can aim! I remember thinking, man Braeden's terrible two's are lasting forever!!!!!! (That thought occurred through ages 1 to ummm... 10??). Well, we had a little heart-to-heart this summer, and I can officially say my brother Braeden is one of my favorite people ever. He is funny, he is smart, he is a TEENAGER. I cannot believe it. Bah, I'm not going to cry. Ok, maybe. But anyways, seeing the wonderful, kind person Braeden gives me SO much hope for my little two year old heathen boy. If Raleigh is anything like his Uncle Braeden when he's a teenager, I will be more than proud and happy. I am so proud of you Braeden, you are a leader and an example to ALL the people around you. "Let your light so shine among men, that they might see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven." I love you, my brothers.
