Well last year I had the fabulous idea of having the boys be Calvin and Hobbes, well this year I was on a roll getting their costumes together! I painted Raleigh's Calvin shirt and got through 3/4 of the Hobbes shirt and pants and then life happened. The boys were sick with a cold for a week and then I went to Time Out for Women last weekend in Richmond (which was AWESOME! I highly recommend it!), and then I came back to sick kids! I took Raleigh to the dr Monday morning and he tested positive for strep and he had obvious hand, foot, and mouth disease. Let's just say it was the longest week of my life, hfmd is VERY contagious so we were quarantined all week and then Trenty got it on Thursday. After a week of drinking Capri sun and trying to trick them into eating yogurt, we made it to today. Trenty is still sick and miserable, but Raleigh is feeling better and able to eat a little bit. I went to the Relief Society Souper Saturday this morning (also fun, slightly unproductive, but fun) and then I took Raleigh to the ward Trunk or Treat where he had a BLAST. It was like he hadn't seen people all week or something............... ha. Anyway, nobody "got" his costume, I felt kinda lame, but i'm still proud I put it together and I bought a little tiger costume for Trenty to wear on Monday (hopefully). Well, wish us luck and pray for us to get better (mostly Trenty). Oh and WASH YOUR HANDS CONSTANTLY, lol. Happy Halloween y'all!!

Ohhh..poor Trenty. I hope he's feeling better soon! I get his costume...it's adorable. How did you get his hair to go like that. Trenty is adorable in that sink. I know that he and Levi would be BFF if we lived closer. Glad you guys had fun at the trunk or treat. Are you on as much of a sugar high as we are over here? Feel better, Trenty!

Yes, that can be a problem with themed costumes :) I still think it's cute. I hope everyone feels better for Monday! Did you totally ditch Facebook again?! I was getting worried about you. No Facebook and no blog posts (until yesterday.) Maybe I will see you Saturday at the stake Relief Society thingy? I'm glad you put yourself in a picture or two :)
I love Raleigh's hair! It's so stinkin' cute. Also, Calvin & Hobbes was a great idea for them. They're pretty much the coolest comic characters ever.
