10 Minute Dinner!

I don't know how many people know this about me, but I rarely cook. And I mean, twice a month at the most. And most things I make are "vegetarian" aka I don't like to touch raw meat. This is one of the things I make pretty often for lunch and dinner. Easy, peasy!

We like to make enough for leftovers for the next day (there's only three and a half of us, ya know), so here are the ingredients!

1 pound of pasta, our favorites are Penne, Bowtie, or Rotini
12 - 16 oz bag of frozen vegetables, we like either Broccoli or Peas and Carrots
1/2 stick of butter (1/4 cup)
Garlic Salt
Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 - 2 Chicken Breasts (not pictured, you can use leftover chicken or pan-fried chicken with a little oil and seasoning salt, shredded or cubed)

You're going to want to start with the chicken if it's not already cooked and get that frying or grilled or however you like it. It's gotta be cooked all the way through since you're just going to throw it in the pasta. Anyways, boil the water and cook the pasta according to the package. You can steam or microwave the vegetables (can you tell I don't cook very often?) I also find it faster to soften the butter (pop it in the microwave for 15 seconds).

Now all you need to do is assemble it! Throw the pasta, chicken, and vegetables in the bowl with the butter, the heat of the food should melt the butter for you. Toss it around and add a generous amount of Parmesan cheese and Garlic Salt. I would put measurements for those, but I really just taste as I go. Isn't that what cooking is all about? Anyways, feel free to add more butter if it is quite dry. And that's it! Enjoy!!
Gotta add in a picture of the cute baby eating dinner!!

Hahaha, I don't like touching raw meat either. This looks like something that would become my new go-to meal. YUM. We should trade recipes sometime!!
