Okay, i'm not gonna lie. I thought this recipe would be a total flop. But I am so very happy that it wasn't!! It was so easy and cheap! Here is where I got the recipe:
One 3 oz box of Jello, any flavor
Two 1/4 oz packets of unflavored gelatin (1/2 oz total, they come in 1 oz boxes with 4 packets in each, pictures of the boxes are above)
1/3 cup water
Small sauce pan and something that is easy to pour with, I used my small butter warmer pan that was already easy to pour with.
Okay now, all you need to do is heat the water, Jello packet, and gelatin packets on medium for 3 - 5 minutes until the powders are dissolved. Pour into whatever mold you are using and let it set for about 20 minutes or so in the fridge.
Don't be discouraged if you touch the gummis and they are not hard, just wait a little longer. I was worried that I had messed them up somehow, but they magically hardened all the way through (I think the trick is to put them in the fridge and forget about them for a while)!
I got a little hot water in a dish and used a butter knife around the edges of the molds to get them out. They just need a little loosening up and they will pop right now. Really! So easy! Enjoy : )
