

I'm pretty sure everyone gets these flannel receiving blankets when their baby is born, but there isn't much use to them (they definitely aren't stretchy enough for swaddling)! I just cut one blanket smaller than the other by 2 inches (but I really just eyed it... and the ties, which I'm sure you can tell, lol) and I used the tutorial for tying and binding on this site again:
http://www.purlbee.com/sunny-tied-quilt/. I just use extra batting from other projects that I had lying around. They are so much softer and comfy now! Hope baby Trenton likes them, I know Raleigh already does!
