Nursery Boy and The Quilt!

Here he is! All ready for his first day in nursery, doesn't he look SO little?? : (
Sitting on the quilt...
Showing me his picture! It was obviously his first time to color in nursery, we will work on his artistic abilities and next week he's bee a regular Picasso, lol.
Mmm, the quilt again!

And here's the whole entire full size thing! I am so glad it is finished, I've had the squares cut since September I think. Finishing it was a lot more fun to me than piecing the squares and such. I used this tutorial for tying and the binding: http://www.purlbee.com/sunny-tied-quilt/. Anyways, I really enjoyed the end of this project and hopefully I can start some more quilts for my boys! This time though, I will wash the cotton beforehand to save me the anxiety. Yay!!

Great job! Laurie got me in the habit of washing immediately after buying. It does make it easier.

Raleigh is so darn cute! I love his little bow tie! I wish he could be in my nursery! By the way, the quilt turned out great!

Wow, your nusery looks cooler than ours, they never color. Did you get to leave him, was he okay with that? Why does my kid hate nursery?

You quilt looks fabulous. No wonder you hated the process... you started with a jean quilt. My mom LOVES jean quilts and I vowed never to make one cause they look too hard. So I am impressed. Well done. Well done!
