Yummmm

Last year's spread!
Apparently, I have another post title "Yummmm" because it came up when I typed this title in, haha.  Anyways, on to more important business.  Here is our Thanksgiving Menu this year:

Turkey - http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Homestyle-Turkey-the-Michigander-Way-2/Detail.aspx
Gravy - Steve's secret recipe (or I actually don't know what he does, but its GOOD.)
Mashed Potatoes - Regular ole potatoes, mash 'em up with milk, butter, salt, and pepper!
Stuffing - Stovetop, baked, not soggy, delicious-ness (recipe from my mom)
Nancee Pyper crescent rolls made in heaven - actually made by me this year, wonderful holiday goodness
Yams/Sweet potatoes - what's the difference?  Slather them with brown sugar, butter, and marshmallows and I'll eat 'em up!
Olives - Random Sorensen-ness
Fruit Salad - Again, random Sorensen-ness
Jello Salad - Sorensen recipe, this stuff is good.
Apple pie - not holiday appropriate, but that's ok I still like pie (Steve is going to smack me when he sees my commentary on the menu)
Pumpkin Pie - http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Libbys-Famous-Pumpkin-Pie/Detail.aspxYUM (I was going to make Pumpkin Cheesecake from here http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pumpkin-Pecan-Cheesecake/Detail.aspx or here http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Double-Layer-Pumpkin-Cheesecake-2/Detail.aspx but I am chicken-ing out, and besides, why mess with the best?)
Pecan Chocolate Silk Pie - trying something new this year.  http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Chocolate-Silk-Pecan-Pie/Detail.aspx If it bombs I'm making a pecan pie on Friday.  I need pecan pie.
And Baked French Toast for breakfast (Steve has the recipe somewhere...)

Phew!  I am so excited this year, we are having some awesome friends over and they are bringing food too so we should be sufficiently stuffed when the day is over!  Can't wait to wear my stretchy pants!!  haha
